Nerja is a charming town on the Mediterranean. This easternmost town of the Costa del Sol is a really nice, attractive holiday destination for young and old.
Nerja's charm is included in the beautiful location on a plateau above the sea which has formed a large number of beaches, each with its own character. This, combined with the magnificent viewpoint Balcon de Europa, a promenade in the center, on top of a cliff that juts out into the sea and the typical Spanish narrow streets in the historic center of Nerja, make it really picturesque.
Nerja is famous for its limestone caves, the Cuevas de Nerja in Nerja-Maro, which attract many tourists from home and abroad (when in Maro, visit also the historic Aguila aqueduct). Next to Nerja you'll also find a picturesque old Moorish town, Frigiliana, a typical village of whitewashed houses and steep winding streets.
Nerja lies 75 km from the finca.
