About us
We are Wim, Sheila and Luka from Teralfene (Affligem) in Belgium. After many long trips abroad, we decided to pursue our foreign dream permanently. After a brief but intense house-hunting in southern Spain, we found Finca de los Sueños near Malaga, where we welcome our guests with much pleasure.
The Finca
The finca consists of a main house and two smaller apartments. We live in one of the apartments.
On both sides of the finca, there is a spacious terrace, partially covered. At the front terrace there is a small pool (+/- 14m²) and a small outdoor kitchen with a barbecue. The back terrace offers a nice view, including to the port of Malaga and the (snowy) peaks of the Sierra Nevada.
Currently there are two parking spaces on the property and about 4 just next to it.
Wifi is available throughout the finca.
Main house
The main house has a spacious living room and kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a double shower, and a walk-in dressing room, and has direct access to the terrace at the back. The second bedroom is slightly smaller and the bathroom, with a bath is located just next to it. It has direct access to the terrace at the front (with the pool).
In the living room there's a television with the most important English channels. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine.
In all rooms in the main house, air conditioning is available, except in the bathrooms.
Apartment
The apartment has two identical rooms, a bathroom with a bathtub and a small cozy living room with a kitchenette.
Through the living room you have direct access to the terrace at the back of the finca.
In the kitchen, there is a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster.
Surroundings
The finca lies in the countryside near the urbanization La Alqueria, in AlhaurÃn de la Torre, a town with a population of 40,000.
Lauro Golf, a golf course with 27 holes, lies at 2 km of the finca.
A ten minute drive brings you to the center of AlhaurÃn de la Torre as well as that of AlhaurÃn el Grande, with many shops and restaurants. In a radius of 20km you can find numerous shopping centers, restaurants and supermarkets. Wednesday is market day in AlhaurÃn de la Torre and Thursday in AlhaurÃn el Grande.
The finca is located in the Eagle Valley and offers stunning views of the Montes de Málaga, and in clear weather also the port of Malaga and even on the highest peaks of the Sierra Nevada.

AlhaurÃn de la Torre, like the other places in the Costa del Sol has a Mediterranean climate, where the summers are hot and dry and winters are very mild and a little bit wetter. Here you have an average of 320 sunny days per year. Even in winter it rarely rains and the temperature is on average between 15 and 19 degrees. The surrounding mountains block the cold winds.
